1) Children are cryin, their parents lay dyin, shot down before their eyes

Sirens are wailin, bullets are hailin, explosions light up the skies

Bombs are fallin, tanks are crawlin, the war machine keeps churning

Soldiers unwilling to stop all the killing, everywhere the fires are burning

2) Religion we preach, it's hatred we teach, who do we think we are?

Minds are confused, the word is misused, we're taking things way too far

It's in God's name, we kill and we maim, we say it's for the savior

It's in God's name, we curse and we blame, an excuse for our behavior

In the name of God…without a thought, we kill

In the name of God…we're the ones who sin

In the name of God…Armageddon, we begin

3) An eye for an eye, we hurry to die, and for what I don't understand

We slaughter and take, destroy and break, all for a scrap of land

To God we all pray just so we can say, that we understand his will

Words from a page, we use to enrage the legions we send to kill

4) There's just no excuse for all the abuse we inflict upon each other

We can't justify, the deceit and the lies we tell about our brother

Open your mind, blind lead the blind as annihilation draws real near

We're pushed and shoved in the name of above, blood exchanged for tears.
